How selling works
Four steps to your first sale.
From opening your studio to shipping the work. No listing fees, no auction cuts, no algorithm to game.
Open your studio
Sign up, start a Mostra Membership, and set up your artist profile. Bio, statement, cover image, and a verified badge. Your studio is live the moment membership is active.
Upload your work
Add originals and fine-art prints with images, dimensions, medium, edition details, and price. Drag to reorder, undo mistakes, and preview exactly how the work will look to buyers.
Get seen
Your work is surfaced across Mostra's discovery feeds, editorial features, open calls, and the audience already built by The Holy Art Gallery.
Sell direct. Keep 100 percent.
Buyers enquire, make offers, or buy directly. Payments land in your Stripe or PayPal account. Mostra takes zero commission, ever.

Questions, answered
Everything you might want to ask before you join.
How much commission does Mostra take on a sale?
Zero. Mostra takes 0 percent commission on every sale, forever. Buyers pay you directly through Stripe. You keep 100 percent of the price you set.
How does Mostra make money if it does not take commission?
Artists pay one flat Mostra Membership. That is the entire business model. No listing fees, no transaction fees, no hidden cuts.
Who owns the relationship with the collector?
You do. When a collector buys or enquires, their email, name, and shipping details go straight to you. Your buyers live in your address book, not the platform's.
How do I get paid when someone buys my work?
You connect your Stripe account or PayPal in the studio. When a buyer purchases a work, funds land in your account directly. Mostra never holds your money.
What kind of art can I sell on Mostra?
Original paintings, drawings, prints, photography, sculpture, digital works, editions, and fine-art prints. If it can be photographed and shipped, it can be sold on Mostra.
Do I need to be an established artist to join?
No. Emerging, mid-career, and established artists are all welcome. What matters is that the work is yours and you can speak to it. Every artist gets a verified badge once membership is active.
Who sees my work on Mostra?
Collectors, curators, and art lovers already following The Holy Art Gallery: 250,000 on Instagram, 180,000 on the mailing list, and the discovery feed on Mostra itself. Work is surfaced in editorial features, open calls, and city rails.
How do buyers contact me?
Buyers can enquire, make an offer, or buy directly on any artwork page. They enter their name and email, no account needed, and the enquiry lands in your studio inbox and email.
Is there a limit on how many works I can upload?
Paid Mostra Members can upload unlimited works. The free tier is capped at three works and stays hidden from public discovery until membership is active.
What happens after a sale?
You get an email and a studio notification with the buyer's shipping details. You print a label, ship the work, and mark it as sent. The buyer receives a verified certificate of authenticity automatically.
Can I cancel my membership at any time?
Yes. Membership is monthly or yearly and you can cancel from the studio at any point. Your work stays live until the end of the paid period.
How is Mostra different from Saatchi Art, Etsy, or Instagram?
Saatchi Art and Etsy take 30 to 40 percent commission on each sale and own the buyer relationship. Instagram is not built for selling and gives you no gallery infrastructure. Mostra is zero commission, flat subscription, and hands the collector back to the artist.
Start selling on your terms.
Open your studio in a few minutes. Keep 100 percent of every sale from the first one.
