Thorsten Ritzmann is a German photographer working in a dynamic field of tension between synthetic cubism, the matter-of-fact objectivity of Stephen Shore, German expressionism, the subtle surface geometry of Lyonel Feininger, and the futuristic defragmentation of Pep Ventosa. He prints his works on metal plates and calls his style the uncommon moments, an artificiality of natural staging.
