About the work.

Silence is a collection of two interconnected paintings, Pause and Unspoken, exploring the quiet spaces within our inner lives. The collection reflects moments when we step away from the noise within us, as well as the emotions and thoughts we carry without giving them words. Through stillness and quiet reflection, these works explore the space between what we feel and what we choose, or are able, to express. Together, the two paintings suggest that silence is never truly empty. It can hold reflection, presence, emotion and everything that remains unspoken.
