About the work.

A seated woman, seen from behind with her face turned away, painted in soft grey over a pale wash with a few touches of red. She is not posed to please anyone. The painting offers vulnerability without apology: a body at rest, carrying whatever it carries. [All paintings are delivered framed in a slim, modern natural-wood frame (approx. 2 cm profile). Wood tone and grain vary slightly from frame to frame.]
