About the work.

Plant Studies is a series of new works from Hastings born and based artist, Tom Other. Working from his seaside studio, this collection sees the artist concentrating on observational studies of his studio plants. Exploring texture, form and light with his instinctive, illustrative mark making and layers of loose, painterly gestures, the twenty nine original works are a beautiful example of the artists instinctive and organic creative process.
