About the work.

Shared Moments is a series of four circular paintings exploring the rituals of eating together and the memories created around a table. One work depicts the artist’s favorite pizza from a local Italian restaurant in Aix-en-Provence, while the remaining three reveal ornamental Italian plates after the meal has ended. Focusing on what remains, the series presents the empty plate as a trace of conviviality, affection, and time shared with the people closest to us.
