About the work.

Freedom begins when you realise the cage is only made of thoughts. Don’t ask permission to fly the wings are yours and the sky belongs to no one.. Acrylic paint and oils background, the women and the birdcage are on a separate piece of plywood to create a 3D effect, the wings and birdcage have been burnt and carved. The frame is black and gold foiling and burnt on recycled timber with my signature and verse carved in the frame.
