The work
About the work.
This monochrome close‑up portrait honours the quiet grace, resilience and inner poise of Black women. Soft, precise shading traces the curves of lips, neck and collarbone, letting form and stillness speak for themselves. Free of busy detail, the minimalist work holds space for dignity and self‑possession. A thoughtful, elegant statement piece.
